But, I have a different opinion about Yokoshima's feelings. True, he did have strong feeling towards Mikami, but we can't say that those feelings were stronger than his feelings towards Luciola's at some parts:

Yokoshima, even if he's the hero of this manga, he usually doesn’t throw himself at danger like that. You can't use the "I will protect you" promise like an excuse, he loved her. Maybe with not the same intensity than Luciola loved him, but he did it.

He was willing to give his own life for her...yet he was still soo hard on himself. It's not like he didn't love her, but Yokoshima is a bit childish and isn't truly aware of his own feelings.

Well, we get something from this arc. Shiina is able to pull off a pretty good dramatic heroine. I HOPE he uses that talent again.


P.S. :I forget something important. Usually when you fell in love with somebody it's hard to define what do you like about that person, whenever you say the reason it feels empty. I really want to think that he loved her dearly.

{blink} Um...how did Shouryuuki & Co. even survive Vespa and Dogura's barrage? I'm not sure how jettisoning their own power would have saved them. I suppose part of it was them apparently hitch-hiking on Gyakutengou...

Papilio...do not sacrifice yourself to shut down Ashtaroth. At least one bug sister MUST survive...On the other hand, maybe getting clocked by the collapsing Cosmo Processor gave Ashtaroth amnesia? (Or, even better, it's just Ashtaroth possessed by one very incensed-at-the-thought-that-he'd-be-remoulded-with-the-rest-of-the-cosmos Dogura...)

Well, I'm guessing they just barely survived the blast. I mean, it's not like they got hunted down one by one. Gyakutengou just destroyed the entire area. It's not THAT strange if their were some spots to weather off the worst of it.

First time seeing a fanfic attached to a scanlation release  . Not complaining about it though.

there are few things that i like to say about this chapter...

DAMN!!!...this scene really break my heart into pieces when i read it for the first time...(and it still hurt, even now)

so far, you manage to pushed him into a point of desperation and beat him into pulp...now, everything is in your hand!!! you gotta finished what you started...you have to finished him and wrapped things up

i used to call him a disgrace for a human being...but i guess i was wrong...and i'm really sorry for that...

because Saijou is not a disgrace for a human being...but he is a DISGRACE for all THE LIVING THING

DID he try to teased Yokoshima? even in a MOMENT like THIS? because if he does...that means he doesn't have any empathy at all...that PIECE OF SH*T really pissed me off...
