To be honest, I find superheros who fight the evil just for the sake of justice kind of lame.
(Of course that's my opinion now, when I was a kid I think I really admired those people.)

No fictional hero fights for justice they always have other motives. Even the extremely naive ones like Haru Glory from Rave Master,who was fighting to protect Elie. My favorite reason was Yusuke's reason in Yu Yu Hakusho because the bad guys pissed him off

Except Emiyo Shiro from fate stay night he after barely surviving the aftermath of the tenth holy grail war where his family and his whole sector of his town was burned to ashes living him only alive .His only reason for becoming a great hero was that he promise that his father he will be one as from what I see his motives were clear he doesn't want anything that magnitude to happen again which he will do everything in his power to be that hero and stop all those whoever crosses path with him . With that saying he surpasses every superhero I have met probably due to his suffering he had during his childhood time and his unbreakable resolve to stop the forces of evil and the grail. Justice is a word which is subjective in nature . One's Justice could be another Suffering .

Well, there are stuff like the Power Rangers or Superman.

I believe even superman had his reasons and the power rangers... Let me refraise wat I said earlier no superhero that isn't geared towards 3 year olds, Yusuke had the best reason as he said when he beat that mad scientist Ichigaki or whatever "this one is for messing up the lives of those three kids this one  is for what you did to their sensei, and most importantly this is for pissing me off"

In the end, the only purpose of doing good deeds is always self benefit, even for superman (because saving people makes him feel better). Call that egoism if you want, but that's what most people look up to, not some overly complicated (and unnecessary) reasoning.

she only look terrible in the beginning of the A**taroth-arc and that's not her first appearance...the first time she appear in this manga, she doesn't look like a bad person at all
